Consumable Products: Meet the Team

Product Director

As Product Director my aim is to set the strategic direction for the business with the Board, ensuring that they have all the relevant data and facts to make these decisions. This involves bringing in new ideas for investments and market opportunities, and in conjunction with the Innovation Associate Director being more focused on the future directions driven by knowledge and innovation. One of our primary tools used is the Product Management Wheel, a process we developed to capture all aspects and responsibilities of Product Management to promote collaboration and co-ordination between all stakeholders. I feel passionate about facilitating this type of collaborative communication because it creates an involved team environment where everyone knows how they're contributing to the bigger picture.

I joined Micronclean 30 years ago as a Trainee Manager and have worked in many areas of the business. This has helped build up my knowledgebase as well as fully understand how the business operates. My past roles have been varied and ranged from Quality to Sales. I have a good understanding of the marketplace and have periodically been involved with the Consumables division since it started and am proud of the successful growth of it. In my position as Product Director, I've the opportunity to be influential in driving the business forward towards our 2027 Vision, in which we envisage substantial growth including new market opportunities.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, attending Pilates classes and most of all, eating chocolate. I love family holidays which tend to be a combination of a little time relaxing and more time adventuring.

Angela Holland
Consumables Group Product Manager

As Consumables GPM, it is my role within the business to have complete oversight of our consumables range. This involves setting the current and future strategy for consumables, exploring new and emerging markets, and bringing innovative and disruptive products into our portfolio. Collaborating with our R&D department is key to ensuring that we are developing and enhancing our range of consumable products, to ensure we are always at the forefront of technology and our ever-changing industry.

I joined Micronclean in October 2022, and it has been a great experience since day one. No two days are the same within the business and my role allows for me to work alongside most departments across the business to ensure our strategic vision is met, and customer demands are fulfilled, not just today but in the future also. I am surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Consumables Product Management team, and this has helped me expand my Industry and product knowledge during the last 12 months. Visiting customers has been and is vital to our consumables division, as this allows us to ensure that our future vision not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our customers.

In my spare time, I love to travel and experience new places, cultures, and savouring food from wherever I am able to travel. I also love nothing better than getting lost in a great book when I am unable to physically travel to new places.

Kelly Green
Consumables Product Specialist

It's been quite a journey during my 30-year career in the cleanroom industry! In 2013, I made the exciting move to join Micronclean with the goal of contributing to the growth of the Export Department. Those years in Export were truly enjoyable and enriching. I had the privilege of building strong relationships with many valued customers and navigating the intricate world of Brexit.

In 2021, I decided to pass the Export baton to Ashleigh Herbert and transitioned to Product Management. Now, I'm all about cleanroom consumables, both new and existing, striving to provide exceptional service to both our internal and external customers, ultimately working towards excellence in Customer Service for our extensive customer base.

On a personal note, I'm passionate about films, music, and spending quality time with my family and friends. You could say I'm a bit dog crazy, and if you bring up the topic of dogs, be prepared for an enthusiastic conversation - my two canine companions keep life interesting!

It's been a fantastic journey, and I'm looking forward to the future and all the opportunities it brings.

Hannah Tiplady
Product Assistant

I have been working within the Product Management department since July 2023. Originally my role was a summer placement position, but I was fortunate for it to be extended until the end of the year. My main responsibility is to assist the department with the shift towards our new ERP system, covering areas such as product data migration, configuring static data along with learning and documenting processes for use within the system. One of my priorities is to identify and document process flows for new products, with a view to establishing end-to-end procedures which are clearcut and easy to follow.

My role is incredibly data-driven, which has allowed me to channel the data management and analysis skills I learnt in my university degree course for use in the workplace. I am very happy in this role and I love my job, let alone working alongside so many great people who have made me feel nothing but welcome since day one. I will be sad to say goodbye to Product Management in December, but I have applied for and been offered the role of Deputy Production Planner which I am very much looking forward to. I'm very happy to be staying with Micronclean and continuing to build on my skills and collaborate with dedicated and friendly people.

In my personal life I enjoy travelling, having recently visited Estonia which was amazing. Next month I am going on a trip to Iceland and hope to be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.
