IT Department - Meet the Team

Robert Jamieson

IT Manager

Robert has worked at Micronclean for just over 10 years and has been in his current role for a little over a year now.

His passion for IT stems from a drive for the continuous improvement of our systems, ultimately aiding the support for our customers.

Robert started his journey at Micronclean in the production area. Having the operations background makes him empathetic towards other departments and how they function, meaning he always considers productions processes when working on projects.

His favourite chocolate bar is a Twix because he has been eating them since he was around 5.

Mark Robinson

System Analyst

A large part of Mark’s role is to provide data services to the business, implementing company-wide projects for internal technology and new technological solutions.

Mark runs internal training sessions we call ‘The Knowledge Forum’, spreading information across the business from all different departments. These sessions have been running for around 4 years and play a huge part in keeping everyone informed within the company. He is also a member of the SKIE’s council, spreading the purpose and principles we follow here at Micronclean.

Mark doesn’t eat chocolate… however he is partial to a ginger nut biscuit!

Billy Allen

Network and Security Specialist

Billy is a lead technician for our network and hardware infrastructure. He deploys and maintains our servers, making improvements to our network and keeps it available for our staff/customers alike.

He is passionate about all things technological, always getting stuck into any job he receives and loves to solve IT problems and implement technological systems.

Billy is currently undertaking the Future Leaders Internal Training Enterprise (FLITE) programme which builds individuals skills and allows them the tools to progress in the future.

Milka chocolate reminds him of spending summer abroad with family. 

Jason Humberstone

Software Engineer

Primarily Jason’s role requires engineering new software solutions for the company. In particular Jason is spending much of his time aiding the build of our cleanroom garment laundry in India by adapting our in-house Protrack system for the new site.

Jason is continually looking to challenge himself both in work and outside of work.

His determination and relentless focus on both himself and his outputs are a huge asset to the department.

Jason doesn't eat much chocolate these days, but if he does it is a Ripple because they are light but still very tasty!

Justin Limb

Software Technician

A large part of Justin’s role is providing software maintenance for exiting pieces of in-house software, but does also get involved in new software projects for the company.

Justin is the baby of the group, therefore his youth and enthusiasm brings a lot to the department. He also has a very keen eye for detail and making sure everything is done properly.

His favourite chocolate bar is Mint Aero. Some say it is too sickly… Justin disagrees!

David Maddock

IT Support Technician

David is the first point of contact for the business/customers in relation to IT queries at Micronclean. He will aim to resolve any issues himself, but is also responsible for escalating certain issues for further investigation as required.

He has a calm and methodical approach to his workload, which works well when having a large workload as the first line of support.

David’s favourite chocolate bar is a Twirl, because it is melty goodness.
